SLT is the shorter version of  words: Strengthen, Lengthen and Tone. This type of workout routine consists in the mix of these three kinds of trainings. They are perfectly combined to bring out the best of your body’s potentials.

SLT is also an intense workout and it’s not suitable to be performed since the very beginning if you have never been working out before. The SLT training sessions usually last longer than one hour and give instant results.

Why and How SLT works?

The truth is, there is not a workout routine that is unable to give you its own specific benefits. Whether you’re a cardio-lover or weight train on daily basis, the important thing is to enjoy the time you spend working on your physique.

SLT on the other hand, is fun because it combines different types of workouts in one singe routine. It isn’t boring and forces your body to deliver the bet results possible since it works on different body parts. Without skipping a single muscle. It is specially designed to engage all your body parts through the right moves in an intense way.

The creator of SLT is Amanda Freeman.  She took Pilates and wanted to combine it with additional movements by bringing a faster paced cardio routine that helps our heart perform better through. Also, she added certain toning and strengthening type of essential exercises and moves. She included by adjusting them into the same workout routine.

Who can do SLT?

Well, the first thought that goes through everyone’s mind is probably the one that suggests this type of workout is more suitable for women. Well, only because it includes Pilates and it’s crated by one, doesn’t necessarily mean it will deliver the most benefits on women. This is certainly not true at all. SLT workout is suitable and perfect for everyone aiming to achieve the fitness results faster. Also, for everyone that sees training sessions as a challenge and wants to prove himself to different kinds of training forms.

So, if you’re looking to tone your muscles while at the same time doing cardio and losing weights, SLT is definitely a must.

Generally speaking, it would be very hard for everyone to break some sweat only by doing a slow-intense routine that only targets certain muscle groups. This is what SLT wants to avoid doing. It fits each muscle group and targets every part of the body. This, by keeping the heart in shape and losing fat in only one single workout routine. People who’ve started to try this relatively new workout routine swear by its fast results. According to many happy SLT-addicted, the results this type of training is able to deliver are really fast. Three to four workout sessions are more than enough to start seeing some oblique muscles!
