Summer ready: teas to make you burn all the extra fat

tea for weight loss

Restrictive diets are not only unhealthy, but they are also super boring. No one wants to limit themselves from eating right? Our body needs carbs, fats, and proteins in order to properly function and stay healthy. But, what happens when we overconsume these elements or live a sedentary life?

Even when consuming the right amount of carbs and fats and stay as far away as possible from processed foods, you may still have excess weight. And that’s because you don’t exercises enough and also, don’t help your system better process the foods you eat.

Two are the best things to do when the healthiest and well-balanced diet leads you nowhere to your main goal. The first has to do with the amount of physical activity you have during a day. After adding the exercise into your daily routine (at least 20-30 minutes per day), you can now step to the final thing that will help your body be in its best shape possible: Help your metabolism to better process the foods you consume.

How to do that?

Well, we have decided to bring you today, a list of some of the most metabolism-boosting food products; Teas.

Tea is a miracle drink. We can’t argue with science. Tea is definitely one of the most powerful and healthy drinks that has been into people’s kitchens for thousands of years. Green, black, white, mint, green, etc. are all packed with high amounts of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to keep us healthy.

There are some types of teas that have bigger fat-melting properties than others by helping our metabolism better process the nutritional values that we take through food.

Green tea

Why: Because green tea unlocks our fat cells

Green tea is perfect to be consumed right before each training routine to speed up the metabolism and make the body burn the fat in a more fast and efficient way. According to a three-month study, participants who included at least 3 to 5 cups of green tea into their daily schedule lost an average of almost three pounds more than the other non-green-tea drinkers. This can all be possible thanks to some elements found in the green tea called catechins which burn the fat into our belly area and also, speed up our liver’s capacity to turn fat into energy.

Mint tea

Why: Mint tea delays the hunger

Drinking peppermint tea results in many life-changing benefits. One of these benefits has to do with the body fat. The secret of mint tea to make us get back in shape stands in its scent. Even though there are many different scents that trigger our hunger, there are other ones like the peppermint tea’s scent that does quite the opposite.

According to a study made by the Journal of Neurological and Orthopedic Medicine, people who constantly sniffed peppermint tea during the day, were able to lose an average of 5 pounds in only one month! Pretty impressive right?

White tea

Why: multi-ways to burn the fat

White tea is amazing due to its many fat-burning properties. According to a study made by the Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism, white tea is able to block the formation of new fat cells into our body. On the other hand, white tea boosts the production of the lipolysis process which is the body’s way to break down the fat.

Also, other studies have shown white tea to be a rich source in catechins. This is a type of antioxidant that strongly triggers the release of fat from the cells. It also helps our liver speed its ability to turn fat into energy.
