Video: Australian cyclist hit by kangaroo in horrifying accident

A quite astonishing and interesting video has emerged these past couple of hours showing an Australian crashing with a jumping kangaroo. The horrifying moments show the cyclist crashing on the ground. Fortunately, she escaped with minor injuries. The same goes for the kangaroo who appeared not impressed by the event at all.

The cyclist named Rebecca, can be clearly seen riding along a unpopular road in Queensland before a jumping kangaroo suddenly appears from the bushes and hits her. The incident left her six other friends that she was riding with in total shock.

“After we crested a hill, about 30km/h into the ride, we slowed for others to catch up. Two of us also saw kangaroos on both sides of the road,” Helen, fellow cyclist said.

“The ones on the left hopped away, the one on the right waited to join its mob.”

According to the note the original video has, Rebecca suffered a knee and shoulder injury but nothing serious.
