Vuelta a Espana: Bouhanni wins stages six through impressive sprint

vuelta

Nacer Bouhanni just claimed a well-deserved victory in a reduced bunch during stage six of this season’s Vuelta a Espana as Rudy Molard kept his overall lead in red jersey.

Both Frenchmen were given time penalties after taking feeds on stage five during the last 20km – this is something that the UCI does not allow for pure safety reasons unless the race officials decide otherwise.

Today’s stage is expected to be calmer as riders are headed to an up and down route that includes two third category climbs throughout the 185.7km route between Puerto Lumbreras and Pozo Alcon.
