Andrew Talansky has officially announced his retirement from professional cycling on a status he has posted on one of his social media profiles. He is widely considered to be a talented, high class cyclist commonly known as one of the best American GC cyclists during these last five years.
Andrew, 28, posted the news yesterday admitting he has been living his dream and for that, he thanks Slipstream Sports and his fans that have stayed by his side giving his support and courage to achieve everything he has.
Counting victories…
Andrew Talansky took the fifth place in the general classification of last year’s Vuelta a Espana. He also won the big title of 2014’s Criterium du Dauphine.
Among many other victories, in 2013, Talansky also counts the second overall place he won in Paris-Nice tour and this year’s stage win in the Amgen Tour of California which was crucial for his Cannondale-Drapac winless team performance in the WorldTour.
