Peter Sagan from Bora-Hansgrobe team added earlier today his second stage victory on Tour de Suisse 2017. The two-times world champion has won many stages during his career, and today’s was his 15th, However, despite the today’s result, this victory didn’t get Simon Spilak out of the yellow.
“It was a good day and I’m very happy. My team did a great job trying to control the stage and I’m really happy with my second win at the race.” -added Sagan after stage 8.
He gave a precise and fast performance especially during the stage’s sprint segment sealing his second stage victory on Tour de Suisse 2017.

Sacha Modolo from UAE Team Emirates was one of the only riders to get near Sagan to finish second while on the other hand, Matteo Trentin from Quick-Step Floors team took the third place.
However, stage 8 was quiet easy and untroubled for Simon Spilak from team Katusha who was able to maintain his lead at the top of the overall classification.
