Greipel to lead Lotto Soudal’s Tour de France squad

Lotto Soudal

Andre Greipel will again lead the line of Lotto Soudal team at the Tour de France according to Belgian’s team Twitter post back on Saturday.

This team seems to trust Greipel’s abilities and talent to lead the others being a rider who has won at least one stage in the last 6 editions of the Tour de France.

Formation

Being the main point of success, sprinter Andre Greipel, will aim for a big victory along with other 8 team members selected to protect and direct their leader to the big price. Lotto Soudal team members for the Tour de France 2017 who will help the leader to the victory are:

– Tiesj Benoot

– Lars Bak

– Thomas De Gendt

– Tony Gallopin

– Adam Hansen

– Marcel Sieberg

– Jurgen Roelandts

– Tim Wellens

Tiesj Bennot, a rising talent at the classics, will have the chance to make his Grand Tour debut while Adam Hansen will undertake his 18th consecutive Tour participation even though he has just gotten back in shape after a fractured hand at Giro d’Italia last month.

Thomas De Gendt, Mont Ventoux winner in 2016, will most probably try for the best climber price.  On the other hand, Tony Gallopin and Tim Wellens, previous stage winners and team leaders, will mostly look for opportunities during the medium mountains segments.
