On the other hand, the second place of the stage 15 in Giro d’Italia went to Nairo Quitntana from Movistar team. He was able to reduce his overall gap between him and Dumoulin from Team Sunweb who now stands at the 2 minutes and 41 seconds time.

The British rider, Adam Yates was able to move up in the general classification from the 13th place to 11th after finishing fourth during the 15th stage.

Unfortunately, the Estonian rider, Tanel Kangert, who started the stage in the seventh place, was forced to get out of the race after an accident in which he ended up fracturing his elbow. He crashed into a bollard after being just 10 kilometers away form the finish line.

Today’s a rest day. The following stage continues back tomorrow and it will take place in Rovetta and will end at Bormio.
