Tour of Alps organizers have finally announced some great news related to this season’s Tour of Alps event. So far, there are nine WorldTour teams that have already accepted their invitations to become part of the tour.
Tour of Alps is set to begin on April 16 in Arco with UAE Emirates to lead the race and with Italian Fabio Aru leading the rest of the squad.
Miguel Angel Lopez (Astana), Thibaut Pinot (FDJ), Louis Meintjes (Dimension Data), and George Bennett (Lotto.NL-Jumbo) are some of the high-profile names that are going to become part of the event.

On the other hand, Team Sky, the winner of the last three editions, has yet to announce their team leader since they’re still in the middle of the anti-doping investigation that involves their biggets star Chris Froome.
