This year, Colorado Classic is taking place in Springs, making the race even more attractive. With the Olympic Training Center Velodrome and also a perfect place for altitude training, is obvious why the city of Springs has attracted an increased number of world-class cyclists that aim to take their experience to a next level.

Despite the fact this race’s sustainability was called into question especially these last couple of years after the other Colorado-based USA Pro Challenge stopped existing since 2015, Colorado Classic is continuing to attract more and more audience and investors.

Some of the latest added features include a full-on festival featuring popular bands and singers that accompany the competition until the final day.
This three-day event that has started today and will continue until Saturday, has attracted many women’s and men’s teams from nations all around the word. Some of the biggest names include American Olympian Taylor Phinney and local Rally Cycling rider Danny Pate.

Today’s stage will begin and end on Tejon Street. This year’s the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the one to host the Colorado Classic which is organized as a 2.HC race.
