Chris Froome’s wife: ‘My Husband WILL ride Tour de France!’

Chris froome tour de france

According to Four-time Tour de France winner’s wife, Michelle Froome, despite ASO’s decision to block Chris Froome from competing at next Week’s Tour de France, her husband will become part of the event.

During an interview Froome’s wife and representative gave for Reuters earlier today, she said that the owners of cycling’s biggest grand Tour and cycling event in the world want to prevent Froome from becoming part of this season’s Tour de France which is expected to start on July 7 in order to ‘protect’ their reputation considering the fact Frome’s doping investigation is still ongoing.

Le Monde’s report

According to a recently-published report by Le Monde, the Amaury Sport Organization (ASO), aka the event owner, had decided a few days ago to block the recently-Giro d’italia-winner from competing in their event which is also known to be the biggest cycling event in the world and where Froome has been the winner for the past four years in a row.

“Chris will ride the Tour,” the 33-year-old Froome’s wife, Michelle Froome, told Reuters today.
