Commonwealth Games and also Olympic medalist, Australian Jack Bobridge has been charged with some serious matters. His illegal activity is surfaced after an ongoing operation that aimed to target licenses venues in Perth.
Now, police charges him with drug dealing. They arrested him after executing a searching warrant at his apartment and business located in northern suburb in Yokine.
According to an official police statement, their investigation lead to arrest and accuse the 28-year-old medalist with two counts of sell and supply a trafficable quantity of MDMA and an additional three counts of sell and supply MDMA.
Currently, Bobridge has granted bail and is due to reappear in court in the following month.
A clean and successful career
Unfortunately, he had to retire from cycling in 2016 due to several issues caused by rheumatoid arthritis. His cycling career includes appearances at three Olympic Games where he has won two silver medals, including one in Rio last August.
At the same time, he also took the Australian road race victory. He was able to produce a stunning effort in Buninyong near Ballarat and win the national championship.

“Significant resources have been put into the Perth entertainment precincts to ensure that we identify those people selling drugs,” Detective Senior Sergeant Darryl Cox who is part of the investigation said.
“We will continue to target anyone that enters the entertainment precinct with drugs.
“We want these venues to be safe for all patrons. That is why we encourage all community members, to provide us with information about drug dealing.
