Archibald heading to Canada to get World Championships points at the Track World Cup

Katie Archibald will return to Track World Cup in Canada to get another chance to increase her success story after her home Track World Cup victories. She is now selected to be part of the third round of the series.

She was among 12 riders who got the chance to compete in North America. Milton is the town in which the Track World Championship will take place. It is located in Southern Ontario around 25 miles from Toronto. It is known to be the home of Cervelo, Great Britain Cycling Team’s bike supplier.

Archibald, 23, was able to take Madison gold, Omnium silver and team pursuit at the second round which took place in Manchester. Now she’s heading to Milton, Canada aiming to secure as much World Championship qualification points as possible.

Archibald was partnered by Elinor Barker when at the Madison gold in Manchester, however, now, the Scot has decided to team up with Ellie Dickinson which is the only other athlete chosen for the women’s endurance team.
