Valverde and Sagan have climbed WorldTour rankings as Quick-Step Floors lead the team classification after huge success so far to the season.

After a super busy week with plenty of WorldTour race events, the men’s standing is now settled down with Movistar’s Aejandro Valverde, who jumped from sixth position to first mostly due to his third Volta a Catalunya victory a week ago.

On the other hand, Bora-Hansgrohe’s Peter Sagan went from 14th to second after winning at Gent-Wevegem on Sunday. The World Champion decided to play a tactical game beating through a sprint Quick-Step Floors’ Elia Viviani to the line.
