Australian Rohan Dennis takes fourth stage of Abu Dhabi Tour on Saturday after fighting against time-trial world champion Tom Dumoulin who had to face sudden mechanical troubles.

 

With the race ending today, BMC’s Dennis seems to have fulfilled his main goal to take a stage win in this season’s Tour of Abu Dhabi. He covered the 12-km stage in 14 minutes and 21 seconds ahead of Team Sky’s rider Jonathan Castroviejo from Spain and also teammate and Australian Miles Scotson.

 

The race which is set to end today will see riders finish a 199-km stage that includes a tough 10.8-km climb up Jebel Hafeet which goes to more than one kilometer of altitude.
