2022 Tri Faster Wild Watermelon Wednesday Aquathlon & Open Water Swim:
This is the second annual Tri Faster Events Aquathon/OWS series with a focus on FUN with a competitive twist. Whether you are looking to race hard and get a fast time, have a great workout with a fun group of athletes, or practice race day techniques, this series is for you. Choose between these 3 event options:
Aquathon – 1000m open water swim followed by a 5k run
1500m OWS
500m OWS – Non-competitive event for those looking to get open water exposure in a race setting.
Each race takes place in Fox Brook Park in Brookfield
Course Information:
Swim:
Fox Brook Park features a beautiful 25-acre man-made lake. The course will consist of a 500m loop done three times for the 1500m OWS, twice for the 1000m Aquathon swim, and once for the 500m non-competitive OWS. The smaller loop allows for ample safety staff to keep all swimmers safe.
Run:
Run 3.1 miles on the FAST and FLAT course through Fox Brook Park. The course will consist of 3 loops on the all-paved path around the lake making this the perfect opportunity for a PR.
