_ 2018 Walloon Lake Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon:
Welcome to TriWalloon, a triathlon staged in the increasingly popular Walloon Village. 2017 was our inaugural race and it exceeded all of our expectations. With the success of our first year we are thrilled to be coming back for 2018. The pristine waters of Walloon Lake are located between Petoskey and Boyne City, Michigan. The event consists of a sprint distance triathlon and a sprint distance duathlon that will be perfect for beginner athletes who want to attempt their first triathlon, as well as challenging enough for seasoned and elite athletes who race every weekend. Relay teams are also encouraged for the triathlon and duathlon, including male, female and co-ed. This event will make for the ideal destination race for all. Come for the race, stay for the weekend!
The Barrel Back Restaurant and Tommy’s Marina are serving as our gracious hosts for this family friendly, healthy lifestyle event.
Once again, 100% of the proceeds from this race will go toward the continued work of the Bridge Street House of Prayer, an urban ministry located in the West Side of Grand Rapids, MI

The finish will be next to the Barrel Back Restaurant with a post-race party hosted by the resteraunt and Tommy's Marina. This race will be a family-friendly event that will be a race for the beginner and the seasoned athlete alike.
