2009 Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon:
The 4th Annual Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon will be held on Sunday September 6th, 2009 at Russell Sims Aquatic Center within the Preston Miller Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The event will start at 8:00 am Central Time.
This event starts with a 400 meter swim in the Russell Sims Aquatic Center 50 meter pool. This will utilize a snake swim pattern with swimmers starting individually at five second intervals.
The 23 kilometer bike course is a loop pattern course through Bowling Green and Warren County, Kentucky and includes some challenging hills.
The 5 kilometer run course is relatively flat and covers the residential areas and running trails adjacent to the Preston Miller Park.
Electronic chip timing in provided by Best Times Championchip, Inc. This event has an USAT sanction pending.

The Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon will be held at the Preston Miller Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Driving Directions:
Bowling Green, Kentucky is located in South Central Kentucky approximately 60 miles north of Nashville, TN and 120 miles south of Louisville, KY. Bowling Green is located just off of I-65 from the north and south and the Natcher Parkway from the north and west.
From Nashville, take I-65 north to the Natcher Parkway (exit 20). Take the second exit (exit 5) left onto Russellville Road (68/80). Turn right onto Russellville Road (68E/80E). Turn left onto KY 880 (Veterans Memorials). Park entrance is on the left off Tomblinson Way.
