- Join us, September 11th for the 5th Leg of our Races for Charity Series and the 2nd Annual Sprint Triathlon at Flowers Plantation. The event will start off with a Flagpole Moment of Reverence for those who perished September 11th, 2001… a day Americans will never forget.
Participants will then move to our Club of Southern Luxury for a 300-yard pool swim followed by a 16 mile bike ride through some of the most picturesque scenery that rural Eastern North Carolina has to offer.
Transitioning to the finale, the sanctioned 5K run will take you through the historical plantation site while seeing the various types of comfort living that residents enjoy.
Wrap up the fun-filled day with a Triathletes-and-Supporters-only pool social providing a great setting to recap the challenges of the event.
This is a great event for both the beginner triathlete as well as those more experienced wanting a unique challenge.
Our charity of choice for this activity is the Ronald McDonald House ... they could use our help!
