Swim:  
This is a pool swim with 2 athletes to a lane (swim side by side, so you don't have to worry about passing).

Bike:  
Country roads.
The roads are not closed.  
This is a relatively flat course.

Run:  
This is a fan favorite as athletes run through a nature preserve.  
This part of the course is also the most challenging as it is a little hilly.

Directions from Madison
• Take 90 to Newville • Follow 59 towards Milton. Shortly out of Newville, there will be a green sign that reads, "UW-Whitewater". Turn left onto N. • Follow N into Whitewater (15 minutes) • The stoplights are the Hwy 12 bypass. Continue going straight. • About an 1/2 mile down, you'll turn left onto Indian Mound Parkway • Follow it to Main Street (Culver’s is in front of you). • Turn right onto Main Street.  At the McDonald’s stoplight, turn left onto Tratt Street • At the stop sign, turn right onto Starin Rd (first stop sign you reach). • About 2 blocks down, you’ll see the Triathlon Parking signs. Turn left onto Warhawk Drive (can’t turn right). If you pass the Visitor Center, you went too far.

Directions from Milwaukee
• Take I-43 South to Beloit • Take the WI-20 Exit to East Troy (exit 38). • Turn right onto WI-20. • Follow WI-20. In about 10 minutes, you’ll be at a stop sign. • Turn left onto Hwy 12. • Follow Hwy 12 into Whitewater. • You’ll start having stoplights along the route. • At the 2nd stoplight (Hwy 89), turn right. • Follow it (changes names – Janesville Street to Franklin St) to Main Street (stoplight). • At Main Street, turn left. • 1 block down, turn right onto Prairie (UWW library is across the street). • Drive to Starin Rd (next intersection – stop sign). • Turn left onto Starin Rd. • Go past the Visitor Center. A road comes into Starin, from the right. This is Warhawk Drive (we’re we are located). • Turn right onto Warhawk Drive and follow the triathlon parking signs. 

Directions from Chicago
