The 800 meter or half mile swim takes place in Lake Washington, and begins and ends at the boat launch ramps in Stan Sayres Memorial Park directly across from the Transition Area in Genesee Park.
Bike Course
The 12 mile bike course is considered semi-technical, with a couple sharp turns and narrow sections. The route heads north on Lake Washington Boulevard before getting onto the I90 Express Lanes at Day Street Park. Crossing over Lake Washington to Mercer Island, riders turn around near the east end of the island before returning the way they came.
Run Course
The run is mostly flat, heading south from Genesee Park towards Seward Park on Lake Washington Boulevard before turning around. The run heads up Genesee Way and enters the Park towards the Finish from the south end off of Genesee.
