2016 Barnesville Park/Rotary Lake 5k Trail Walk/Run & Fun Run:
The beauty of nature is on display in this challenging (but not TOO hard) up-and-down, around-the-lake, through-the-woods, all-over-the-park trail 5k.
The first 200 registrants receive their choice of a hooded sweatshirt OR a long-sleeved T-shirt. (Style/sizes NOT guaranteed: 1st come, 1st-serve so register early!)
All participants can fill up with yummy pizza, pepperoni rolls, p;asta salad, and homemade cookies after the race.
We proudly offer over 110 beautifully hand-crafted Nature Trophies in various categories & ivisions for Runners and Walkers.
Free Kids race. All kids win a medallion.
Course Information:
• Course is contained entirely within the park.
• It features asphalt and crushed limestone terrain.
• The trail may get A LITTLE sloppy if it rains, but not too badly.
Directions:
Interstate 70 E/W:
• Take Exit # 202 (Barnesville/Dennison)
• Turn onto OH State Route 800 South for 6 miles.
• At top of hill past the gas station and laundry mat, make an extreme right-hand U-turn.
• Go 100 yards into the Park.
• There will be plenty of signs.
