The Duck Lake Triathlon is a fundraising event for the non-profit group, No More Sidelines. The mission of No More Sidelines is to engage children and young adults with special needs into athletic and social events. Founded in 2005 with 6 children, No More Sidelines now assists over 300 children and young adults in numerous sporting and social events. No More Sidelines is also a hub where parents and families can gather to network and socialize.

Course Information:

The sprint triathlon consists of a 500 meter swim in the clear water of Duck Lake. The bike consists of a 12.4 mile, out and back course with a couple "false flats" and only 2 turns. The entire 5-K run is contained in the park and is 1/2 trail and 1/2 road.

The olympic triathlon consists of a 1500 meter swim (2 laps of 750 meters). The 24.8 bike is 2 laps of the same bike course as used by the sprint athletes. The 10-K run is also 2 laps of the same course as used by the sprint athletes.

The sprint duathlon consists of a 5-K run, 12.4 mile bike and another 5-K run.
