Run, bike, run on the Legacy Parkway Trail System.
Great flat course that starts in North Salt Lake.
This duathlon is a great way to kick off the 2016 triathlon season!
Course Information:
Description of the Short Course:
Run .75 Miles South on Legacy Parkway Trail entering one tunnel at .75 Miles turn around and come back into the transition area resulting in 1.55 miles (2.5K) Run , then go North on Legacy Parkway Trail 5.6 Miles passing over bridges, tunnels and Bountiful Lake, then back to the transition area for a total of 11.2 Miles (18K) Bike, then repeat the 1.55 Mile run course again. Finish Line near transition area.
Description of the Long Course:
Run 1.55 Miles South on Legacy Parkway Trail entering two tunnels then following the Jordan River, at 1.55 Miles turn around and come back into the transition area resulting in 3.1 miles (5K) Run , then go North on Legacy Parkway Trail 11.2 Miles passing over bridges, tunnels and Bountiful Lake, to Farmington Station then back to the transition area for a total of 22.4 Miles (36K) Bike, then repeat the 3.1 Mile run course again. Finish Line near transition area.
