The Tri-Lazy is a relatively short distance bike, paddle and run event perfect for the person who has always wanted to do a tri-event race. The 13.75 mile bike. 1.5 mile paddle and 3.1 mile run will provide a challenge for people of all skill levels. You can team up with a partner: one person bikes, both canoe, and one person runs! We have a awards ceromony at Sorghum Fest . Great time for all ages and to see what are little village has to offer. Last year reviews were great both from first time and experienced tri racers. The proceeds go to the construction of a needed outdoor sport complex.
Race begins with a 13.75 mile bike ride starting at the Fall River dam. The course travels through the countryside with hills, twist and turns and will end back at the dam. The Paddle course starts at the Fall River dam boat landing, travels in a loop through the bay area and ends back at the dam. Canoes and kayaks are availble for rent if needed. The last leg is the run which begins at the Dam and travels out and back to the start/finish line.
2 miles north of Columbus WI on Hwy 16. Johnson Road to First Stop Sign, Right on North Main Street. Watch for signs for racer parking area.
