2015 The City Run 5k Run/Walk:
• The City Run is an annual 5K race in Chillicothe, sponsored by Open Door Church.
• Each year the profits from The City Run will be given to where the city Parks & Rec need it most.
• This year the money is going to go towards the city park bridge.
• In it's current state the bridge needs over $25K of work ... WOWZA ... that's a lot of dough.
• Our goal is to contribute at least $10K this year towards that fund which would mean we would have a total of 700 registrants for the 2015 race.
• We have some other creative ideas in the funnel about how to raise more $$ and we'll be sharing those with you soon! If this is your first race ... you couldn't have joined a better year to make history in Chillicothe.
