A Twilight Race
The
evening of June 26, 2015, marks the return of the Wadsworth Matchstick.
Please join us at Art Wright Stadium under the lights for the 5K & 10K
events. The events feature chip times, performance shirts for
pre-registered, gear check, Live broadcast on 97.1 WWWR, Blue Tip ride ticket
for each participant, finish line food, Live DJ, Gatorade & water stations,
plus awards for top three in each age bracket. Spectators can enjoy the
Blue Tip festival full of food and entertainment.
Course Information:
Both the 5k and 10k are single loop courses starting and finishing at Art Wright Stadium. The course travels through downtown Wadsworth and surrounding neighborhoods offering fan support and a variety of scenery. Over 100 volunteers will be working to ensure everyone's safety along the route.
Directions:
Traveling on I76 take the St.Rt. 94 Wadsworth exit. Head south to the town square then turn right on Broad Street which turns into College Street. Past the cemetery turn left on Grandview and the stadium will be on your right approximately .2 miles.
