Coffman Y will be hosting its first indoor triathlon which consist of three events: swimming, cycling and running. The swim will be held in our indoor pool, the cycling takes place on our spin bikes and the run will take place on our treadmills. The participants will be judged by the distance traveled in each event in a set amount of time. Transition times between each event will not be factored into overall scoring.
· The format will be a 20 minute swim, 20 minute bike and 20 minute run with waves going every 23 minutes. There will be a 3 minute transition time that will not be included in overall scoring. Bikes will be located on pool deck for convenience and treadmills will be roped off in the fitness center. Max number of participants is 48. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
· There will be a men’s and women’s division and the top three finishers in each division will receive prizes valued between $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place and $50 3rd place.
· Awards will be given based on distance achieved within the allotted time. Every participant will
receive a high quality sport t-shirt.
· Cost $35 per person CHECK IN: 7AM FIRST WAVE GOES OFF AT 7:40AM
