This extreme run is modeled after the famous Warrior Dash and Tough Mudder events. The run is a 5K through the beautiful dense woods, hills, creeks and trails around the White Gravel Mines with a significant portion of the race actually being ran inside the mine itself. It's the only underground race of its kind in the tri-state area. The mines are 56 degrees and partially lit by electric as well as more antiquated methods. Each passageway is approximately 20-30' wide and 20'+ high. There is a water crossing obstacle inside the mines about chest deep. Outside, there are rope "assisted" 45-55 degree climbs and descents and extreme elevation changes on the trails. Other obstacles include a mud bog, tube crawls, and other challenges. The drastic temperature and elevation changes will push you and your muscles to your breaking point.

Course Information:

$40.00 per person early entry up to August 16th, $50.00 after August 16th and day of race. $35.00 per person for teams of 6 or more. (Must do early registration entry before August 16th) NO discounted team registrations accepted online, you must print out the registration forms and mail payment in the form of a check or money order payable to: Mindy Martin at 1160 Simon Miller Rd., Portsmouth, Ohio 45662. (Preferably one check and all forms in one envelope). NO discounts after the August 16th deadline.
