2010 SoJo Marathon:
- Come join us for South Jordan's first Boston qualifier. It's a super speedy down hill course starting in Copperton and ending at the Riverbottoms.
- Cash prizes will be awarded to overall winners of the marathon.
- Age group winners will receive free entry into next year's race.
- All finishers will receive a finisher's award.
- Make sure to get a post race massage and wander through our great expo.
- Don't forget to sign up for the pre-race pasta feed the night before. Madeline's Steakhouse is doing the cooking!!!
Course Information:
Marathon: Starts in Copperton, comes down into South Jordan, through Riverton and Herriman and then back into South Jordan for a fabulous downhill finish. There are a couple of small bumps. One by the Oquirrh Temple and the other on the way out to Herriman, but nothing to cry about.
Half Marathon: Starts in Copperton with the marathon, but skips the Riverton/Herriman loop and just screams down the hill to the riverbottoms for a fantastic PR.
5k: Completely on the Jordan River Parkway Trail. It's as flat as humanly possible. Enjoy the trail's gorgeous fall scenery.
Directions:
- To get to the venue from I15, take the 10600 S exit and head west.
- At the bottom of the hill, turn left onto Riverside drive.
- Follow the road past the round abouts.
- Packet pick up and the pre-race pasta feed will be at the pavillion at West Riverside Park.
