2014 HealthWorks Boomtown Triathlon:

Sprint triathlon with a 425 yard pool swim, 15 mile out and back bike, 5k run, all around the heart of the award winning Downtown Eldorado.

Course Information:

Swim:

The swim will be in the HealthWorks Pool.

One person will start in each lane and swim 17x25 yards before exiting and moving to the bike transition located just outside the pool fence.

Bike:

The bike course will begin just outside the pool area fence.

From there go west on East Elm St, take a right and go north on N Jackson St, go down to E. Sheppard, turn right and go straight through the traffic light at Champagnolle and N. Madison.

Follow Champagnolle for approximately 6 miles.

There will be a turn around cone at Old Country Road.

Follow the same route back until you reach the traffic light at Champagnolle and N. Madison.

Turn left and follow N. Madison until you reach East Elm St at the back of HealthWorks.

Turn right and finish the bike leg at the back of HealthWorks.

Run:

The run will start behind HealthWorks on East Elm.

Go west on East Elm and turn right on North Jackson.

Follow North Jackson until you reach East Sheppard.

Turn right, follow East Sheppard to the traffic light at N. Madison and Champagnolle and turn left onto N. Madison.

Follow N. Madison down to 17th St,, turn right then turn right again onto N Euclid Ave, Follow N. Euclid two blocks and turn right onto E 15th St, then a left back onto N Madison Ave.

Follow N Madison back to East Elm to finish behind HealthWorks.

12 miles north of Junction City, La. on hwy 167 (50 mins from Ruston, 1 hr 45 mins from Shreveport, La
2 Hrs south of Little Rock, Ar. on hwy 167
1.5 hrs northeast of Monroe, La.
1 hr 45 mins from Texarkana, Tx on Hwy 82
