The annual Three Eagle Half Marathon & 5K takes place on the pristine Three Eagle Trail, a 13-mile crushed limestone trail connecting the towns of Eagle River and Three Lakes, Wisconsin. The gorgeous trail is only enhanced by the beautiful Wisconsin northwoods and its peak Fall colors. This is a chip-timed, point-to-point race. There will be mile markers at every mile and portable toilets available along the route. Funds raised will benefit the Three Eagle Trail and the Three Lakes Track & Field and Cross Country programs.

Saturday Morning
Runners will be shuttled to the Dairy Queen in Eagle River for the start. After 3 miles, the race will utilize Section 9 and Sundstein Roads to get from the North section of the trail to the South trail. Runners will be on the paved road for about 1.5 miles where they will also encounter some small rolling hills. Due to this paved section of road, runners should not wear spikes. Runners will also cross boardwalks and a bridge. Elevation changes are minor.
Runners will be shuttled to the Petroleum Museumon Wykoski Road, near the start line. The course is flat, straight, and follows the trail.
Runners complete the course at Don Burnside Parkin Three Lakes. There will be traffic monitors along the way.
Water & Gatorade will be available in cups, along with first aid. The seven aid stations are evenly spaced and shown on the map. They will appear as follows:
From 8:30am to 9:10am, one-way bus shuttles will depart from Don Burnside Park and take runners to the race start. The shuttles will depart approxamately every 15-20 minutes. Parking is available at Don Burnside Park and the Reiter Center in Three Lakes. Note: You can drive to, or be dropped off at, the start lines. However there will not be any shuttle services back to the start lines following the race.
