A challenging 5K obstacle race hosted by YMCA Camp Kern and
held just outside
The Kern Dash Series is comprised of three
seasonal dashes, held on the beautiful and multifarious terrain of YMCA Camp
Kern, that will test your every limit. Each event is separate and
unique, but we guarantee mud, brutal obstacles, rugged terrain, and scenic
views in each. Those who complete all 3 in 2013 will be eligible for
Grand Prizes. Kern Dashes raise money for the Strong Kids Scholarship
Campaign. This Campaign provides scholarships which allow kids, whose
families otherwise may not be able to afford it, come to Camp.
