This is a great beginner friendly race or a race to begin your triathlon season.
Athletes will swim 1/4 mile (8 laps); bike 5 miles on stationary bikes; run/walk 2 miles on treadmills. Participants will compete in waves, up to 6 participants, every 30 minutes. Winners will be determined by the fastest total time for all 3 events. Note: transition times will NOT count. In the case of a tie, we will look at your predicted time to determine the winner.
Participants who register up until February 18 will receive their dri fit shirt race day. Participants who register after February 18 will receive their dri fit shirt 1 week after the event.
We do accept race day entries.
Triathletes will use 6 of our 8 lane lap pool leaving 2 lanes open for warm up and recreational swimmers.
Triathletes will use 3 upright and 3 recumbent stationary bikes for the 5 mile ride in our fitness center.
Triathletes will use 7 of our treadmills to either walk or run the 2 mile distance.
Transition times do not count toward your total time.
