2013 Navarino Trail Fun Run / Walk:
Run or walk through the fields, forests, and wetlands of the Navarino Wildlife Area. Celebrate EARTH DAY and support environmental education at the same time.
Tour our eco-friendly facility and learn how weve become self-sufficient by viewing a demonstration of how our New Green Building creates and stores energy.
This event helps to serve as a fund-raiser for the Nature Center. Event proceeds will support school programs for local elementary and middle schools. Additional donations are encouraged and are tax-deductible.
Early registration is encouraged to help us plan out the event, however you may still register
Saturday morning from 7 AM 8:30 AM at the
Navarino Nature Center. Pre-registered individuals will pick up their packets the day of the event. All participants will receive a T-shirt & refreshments.

Course Information:
5 Km Run/Walk: This course starts and finishes in the grass field west of the Nature Center. The trail goes through a mixed forest, through several wetlands by crossing over two boardwalks, and along the edges of several restored prairies.
Starts @ 9 a.m. at the Navarino Nature Center.
1 Mile Kids Run: Young runners will enjoy and be challenged by this one mile loop through the forest and along the bog boardwalk. Open to kids up to age 15. Parents may run with their kids.
Starts @ 10:30 a.m. at the Nature Center.

From Hwy 47
Take Hwy 156 (west) to McDonald Road (north) turn east on Lindsten Road.
From Shawano
Take Hwy K (south), turn left onto Townline Road (east), turn right onto McDonald Road (south), turn left onto Lindsten Road (east).
From Clintonville
Take Hwy 156 (east) to McDonald Road (north), turn onto Lindsten Road (east).
