    Course Info: Road Bike 18mi. Run 4.5mi. Kayak 1.5mi.
  • The bike leg will begin on the road in the park just above the amphitheater and end in the parking lot above the amphitheater. Length is approximately 18 miles on city roads. This is NOT a closed course, so please obey all traffic signals.
  • The run will begin in the parking lot above the amphitheater, and will be an out and back route. It will follow the road to the bridge that crosses the lake onto the dirt/gravel path around the lake to Rooster Front Park to a turn around by the tennis courts, and then back to the parking lot and amphitheater. Approximate distance is 4.5 miles.
  • The water portion will be last discipline and will begin on the beach. Racers will paddle to the dam where they will circle the turnaround point and then proceed back to the beach. Approximate distance is 1.5 miles. Teams may use 3 people in a canoe or 3 individual kayaks.

  • Swim course - 1/4 mile swim - open water in Lake Chickamauga.
  • Bike - flat & fast. All roads will be open to vehicle traffic. From the Dam straight down Amnicola Hwy to Riverside Drive to left on to Houston Street then right on 3rd street ( tight turns but not too bad if you go slow) then left onto High St. to right on to 4th St then right on to Market Street and to the transition area. Check map on web site.
  • Run -moderately challenging. Course will go up 1st Street to the Walnut Street Bridge instead of 2nd Street.Run on side walks from transition area down Market Street to 1st Street. Then across Walnut Street Bridge to right on Fraiuzer to right on Tremont Street go in front of the Little Theater to trun aroun and back the same way. Check map on web site.
