This is an inaugural race for Tri For Him Triathlon. The swim starts on a the beach and is a point to point swim to the opposite side of the lake. The bike course is on rolling country roads and the run is off road terrain throughout the camp.
Course Information:
Swim
The swim start will be on the beach of Lake Twelve on camp property.
Swimmers will swim to a marked buoy, swim around the buoy, and continue
on to the other side of the lake totaling a 12 mile swim. They will exit
into TeePee town where the bike transition will be located.Bike
Bikers will start biking south on Filmore. The course will be as follows totaling 12 miles:
Triathlon Route 2S on Filmore
E on Pioneer
S on Camp Awana
W on Co Hwy H
N on Filmore
NW on Kohler
S on XX
W on Co Hwy H
N on Orchard Valley (St. Rt 84)
E on Jay
S on Camp Awana Rd. to the front entrance of Camp Awana.
Bikers will end at the entrance of Camp property in a second bike transition area. After dropping their bikes off, they will start a two loop run on camp property. The run will be finish in the baseball fields on camp property.
Run
The run will be marked out throughout camp property and will finish in the field behind the mess hall. It will total 3.1 miles.Directions:
Directions from Chicago:
Take Interstate 94 W/Edens
Continue into Wisconsin on I-94
Continue onto I-43 N 25.8 miles
Slight Left onto WI-57 N (signs for Plymouth) 5.2 miles
Turn left onto Co Rd. H/Fredonia Ave. Continue to follow Co Rd. H. 2.5 miles
Turn R onto Cigrand Dr. 1. miles
Turn L onto Co Hwy H 2.1 Miles
Continue onto Kohler Dr. .7 miles
Turn R onto Camp Awana Rd. 1 mile
Camp Awana will be on your left.
