_The 2024 Queen City Trail Scramble:
We love trail running! Our goal is build and grow the trail running community in Ohio - so all distances are $20 thru July 1!! Your entry fee includes electronic chip timing via MyLaps, commemorative finishers medal, award eligibility for top finishers, and post-event spread. Shirts are an optional purchase.
The Queen City Trail Scramble returns to Caesar Creek State Park on Saturday, July 13 for a scenic trail course along the Caesar Creek Reservoir and features everything for the trail enthusiast - single track trails, rolling course, dry stream bed crossings, and shaded wooded course. Run/Walk or Ruck solo runner or get your trail running friends together for a 50K relay team.
Event Description
The single-track course length is approximately 7.8 miles. The 25K runners will complete the full length of the course and back for their distance. The 50K runners will complete the full length out-n-back twice for a total distance.
5K, 10K and 15K trail runners will run to their designated turnaround points on the trail and return to Start/Finish area.
The course consist of 98% natural trail and includes some great views of the Caesar Creek Reservoir.
Race Fields
Individual (Solo). Solo runners will run their respective distance with start time begins when they cross the start timing mat and ends when they re-cross the mat for their finish.
50K Team. Relay teams will run the 50K course with one member running the 1st 25K lap and the 2nd team member will close out the 50K by running the 2nd lap of the 50K. A team is ideal for pairs looking for a different and fun way to take on the 50K.
Rucking Information
Distances - rucking category is available for all distances except the 26K
Ruck weight minimums: Under 150 lbs.- 15lbs+ and if body weight Over 150 lbs. - 30lbs+
Ruck for each distance will start according to each distance start listed in the schedule.

Onsite Check-in at Caesar Creek Beach Pavilion: 5:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.
50K Start: 6:30 a.m.
25K Start: 7:00 a.m.
15K & 10K Start: 7:30 a.m.
5K Start: 8:00 a.m.
Course Closes: 2:30 p.m.
EVENT SHIRT
Event shirts are an optional purchase item during registration. Shirts are great fitting soft Tri-Blend custom event shirt.
AWARDS & MEDAL
All finishers will receive a commemorative finishers medal.
The Top 3 OVERALL male and female finisher for each distance will receive an award to commemorate their finish.
PARKING
There is ample parking at the Main Beach Parking area. Please park in designated area in parking lot. Do not park in the grass or along the road.

Re-Fueling Stations and Restrooms
There will be at least 2 re-fueling stations on the course containing water, Gatorade, Base Bars, and other light snacks. Vegan options will be available. There will be basic 1st aid kits, hygiene and feminine products available for your small cuts and scrapes needs. All participants are encouraged to carry their own hydration.
Park restrooms will be located at the Start/Finish, 1.5 miles (Furnace Shoals), Day Camp (4.5 miles) and then at the trail loop at the Nature Center.
