_ The 2024 BearTrax and Brownie Shuffle:
The Bear Trax and Brownie Shuffle was started in 2009 as a way to honor a dear friend, Nancy Sellars, who was killed by a drunk driver while riding her bike. The race brings people to the trails she loved at Lapham Peak and also raises money in her name. This money helps support the mission of Peak Nordic Ski Club, which is to promote the sport of cross country skiing, by providing an organized teaching and competitive venue for all area youth.
