_The 2024 OnionMan Olympic Triathlon:

Onionman is a grass roots, affordable, low key event in beautiful Walla Walla meant to be accessible to all triathletes. This race is for beginners looking to gain experience to elite athletes looking for a competitive, challenging race. Onionman is also open to team competitors. We wish all of you a safe race and encourage you to get out there and swim hard, ride strong, run fast and most of all, enjoy yourselves!

The 30th Annual Onionman Triathlon will be held on SATURDAY, May 18, 2024. The Olympic Distance race held at the base of the Blue Mountains is a 1.5K lake swim, 40K rolling bike, and a 10k honest run. 

BIKE COURSE:  Will be the same as the 2023 bike course: Five Mile hill, down Russell Creek Road and back with a short out and back extension on Scenic Loop Road, and back to Bennington Lake.  In accordance with USAT rules, bar end plugs are required on all bikes.

Registration includes a meal ticket to the post race meal and Onionman merchandise.  No day of race registration and no wait list available if race fills. No refunds, transfers and no deferrals.

Onionman Triathlon race is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned event, if you are a USAT member you will need to enter your number on the registration page. If you are not a member you will need to click on one-day license for $15.00. Here is the link if you would like to purchase a one year membership https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Triathlon/Membership-Services/Join-or-Renew, but you will need to wait for your license number.  If you are a USAT member be ready to show your valid Membership Card at packet pick up. Everyone will need to show picture ID as well.
