2023 Shell Lake Triathlon & Duathlon:
Sprint triathlon as a fund raiser for the local lions club.
Course Information:
Swim:
• 1/3 mile swim in open water.
• Shell Lake is a very clear lake.
• Surface temp is 75 deg. F as of July 9. 2023.
Bike:
• Bike course traverses around the lake for the most part.
• Two rolling hills in farm country.
• Volunteers at every cornner to direct participants.
Run:
• The final stage is a 3 mile run.
• The course goes North on the ATV trail to Cty B,
• North on Cty K,
• West on Honeybee to the ATV trail.
• The last leg is South on the ATV trail to the finish line near the flag poles.
