2023 Trailblazer Triathlon, Duathlon & 5K Run:
Sprint distance traithlon and duathlon with 5 k option as well all starting at the same time. Event occurs during small town Founder's Day celebration with lots of family fun around the city. Bring the family to have fun while you race.
This race is great for first time athletes as well as seasoned veterans of the sport. Water temperatures at typically in the low to mid 60s by race day. 2 water stations are provided on the second run and during the 5 k but athletes are encouraged to prepare their own nutrition and hydration otherwise.
Course Information:
Point to point swim with transportation from transition to the start. 12.2 mile bike loop on paved short rolling hills. 2.9 mile run on paved trail around Medical Lake. Single transition area.
Directions:
From Spokane take exit 272 toward Medical Lake traveling about 6 miles. Road closures and detours will be in effect. Volunteers will direct you to parking locations. From I 90 west take Exit 270 toward Medical Lake traveling about 6 miles. Road closures and detrous will be in effect, volunteers will direct you to parking locations throughout the city.
