2012 Hocking Hills Triathlon:

  • The Seventh Annual Hocking Hills Region Triathlon is a challenging event in S-E Ohio.
  • Staged at the beautiful Lake Logan, the Hocking Hills Region Triathlon offers the prefect setting for a unique through the country triathlon.
  • The triathlon starts at the Lake Logan Beach area near Logan, Ohio. After the swim comes a bike ride through rolling countryside west of Lake Logan. You will change from your bike to your running shoes and a run through the abck roads on the east side of the lake.

    SWIM =400M open water swim in the very nice waters of Logan Lake.
    BIKE = 17M cycling
    RUN = 5K Run

    RACE PACKETS:
  • Your Hocking Hills Region Triathlon race packet will include a race tee-shirt, energy bar, race number, and finish line food and beverage.
  • Packet pick-up and pre-registration will be at S/F line at the Lake Logan Beach on Saturday, September 8 @ 8:00am
  • If you don't have a USATriathlon license you can buy a one day license for $10.00

    • Course Information:



  • A very smooth and warm Lake Logan will get you started.
  • Then it is on the bike and you will head north and west on the country roads of the Hocking Hills.
  • After returning to Lake Logan, the run segment is generally rolling along the township roads east of the lake.

    DIRECTIONS TO RACE SITE: Start area: From Columbus go east on SR33 to SR664 west. Go about 50 yards on SR664 and then turn right on Lake Logan Rd. You will run into the registration area and finish area the beach in about 2 miles
