Race includes distances appropriate for age groups as designated by USA Triathlon (distances could change slightly due to road conditions).
5-6 years; 25 yards swim, 1k Bike, 200 meter run
7-8 years; 50 yard swim, 2k bike, 400 meter run
9-10 Years; 100 yd Swim, 2.65 mile Bike, .7 mile Run
11+ Years; 150 yd Swim, 5.3 mile Bike, 1.2 mile Run
(11-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 +
F1 Format for 15 years and up open race Long course 2x
Course Information:
Swim: Murray Park Center Pool
Bike: Murray Park Blvd. to State, to Myrtle, to Vine, to 5300 to Murray Park Blvd. and repeat
Run: Murray Park paths
Directions:
Take I-15 to the 5300 South Exit.
Go East to Murray Park Blvd.
Park in main lot or any lot in the park.
Do not park at Best Buy.

Other Info:
We pride ourselves in the fact that we offer distances approprioate to all age groups. A five year old should not be doing a 3 mile bike and 1 mile run, and a 12 year old should not be doing that either. The distance is too long for a 5 year old and too short for a 12 year old. Remember, the kids are doing 3 different sports without stopping. That's different than just a doing a pure run. It's time intensive to run a race with multiple distances, but we feel it's best for the participants, especially our youngest ones. Help us if you can. We run this race with 35-40 volunteers to ensure that the everyone has the best possible experience.
The 5-8 year old courses remain inside the park on closed roads. The bike course for 9+ is coned off by the city with cones every 75-80 feet.
