This kids triathlon is for children ages 6 through 13.

Swim: 100 meter pool swim, serpentine style (down one lane, up the next)

Bike: 2 ¼ miles

Run: 1 ¼ miles

Course Information:

The swim will take place in the Tri Cities Family YMCA pool.

Athletes will then exit the building to the transition area.

The bike course will take the kids along Lake Avenue to Harbor Drive, going past the beach and back to the YMCA.

Athletes will then run the 1 1/4 mile run along the boardwalk which is part of the same course the adults will run on Sunday.

Directions:

Grand Haven is located right on Lake Michigan, approximately 20 miles west of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Multiple directions shown on event website based on where participant is coming from.

Grand Haven and the Tri Cities is one of the premier vacation locations in the Midwest with something for each member of the family to enjoy. miles of clean sandy beaches along Lake Michigan.

This event is also affiliated with Athletes For A cure. Participants are encouraged to go to the AFAC website where you can sign up to raise funds and awareness to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
