  • This USAT sanctioned event hosts an Olympic distance triathlon, a Sprint distance triathlon and a Sprint distance duathlon.
  • Relay teams are also welcome for any of the events.
  • This year, Pizza Hut/Wing Street is the official food sponsor and is providing a free pre race pasta dinner and post race race food for the athletes.
  • Family and friends are welcome to purchase a ticket to join the dinner and picnic. A live band will also be performing during the post race picnic.

    • Course Information:

    SWIM:
  • Athletes will swim in Lake Michigan along the Grand Haven City Beach and State Park shoreline.
  • Water temps will vary between 60 and 73 degrees. Wetsuits are allowed.

    BIKE:
  • Athletes will bike along the freshly paved roads past the beach, going out and back on scenic Lakeshore Drive.
  • Bike course is relatively flat with only 1 or 2 small hills.

    RUN:
  • The athletes will run along the scenic boardwalk in Grand Haven which goes along the waterfront in Grand Haven, past marinas and retail shops.

  • Grand Haven is located right on Lake Michigan about 20 minutes west of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

  • One of Michigans top tourist destinations, miles of white sandy beach.

  • This event is also affiliated with Athletes For A Cure. Participants are encouraged to go to the AFAC website where you may individually raise funds and awareness for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
