6th Annual USAT Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon breaks the race into two dates. The Sprint and Olympic Course will be held on August 25, 2012 and the Half Iron 70.3 Course will be on September 8, 2012. This will allow more participants in the Half Course and provide an extra level of safety for participants on both events.

The Course for the Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon starts with a beautiful swim in the clearest water in Utah. Often compared to the Carribbean water Bear Lake is a fantastic swim,

- Swim - Sprint 750 Meters and Olympic 1500 Meters. This is done in a triangle 750 meter swim. The Olympic is done in two laps.
- Bike - Sprint 12.4 Miles and Olympic 24.9 Miles. The bikeis an out and back ride on the East side of Bear Lake. Lake views are always on the West and the ride is a rolling course with few hills.
- Run - Sprint 3.1 Miles and Olympic 6.2 Miles. The run is a course that goes through Bear Lake State Park and exits out the back side of it. The run is primarily on pavement but around 1 mile is on dirt trails.

Remember that the Half Iron 70.3 Course will be held on a separate date on September 8, 2012 instead of the same date as the Olympic and Sprint.
