_ The 2020 MK Triathlon and Splash-n-Dash:- CANCELLED

"The MK Triathlon race committee has been monitoring the COVID-19 crisis carefully and we regret to inform you that we’ve decided to cancel the race for 2020. We feel the risks due to COVID-19 outweigh any benefit holding the race will bring."

Known as one of the most scenic places in Langlade County, Jack Lake will again be host to a day of racing, eating, drinking and music to support the Antigo Swim Club!  The MK Triathlon & Splash-n-Dash will be held on Saturday July 14th at Veterans Memorial Park, just north of Antigo, WI.  Jack Lake is known for its crystal-clear water and the surrounding area for its miles of challenging trails that wind through pristine forest. The weekend’s events include an offroad triathlon, a swim/run duathlon and kids race. Competitors can compete in either the solo or team divisions. 

The original Splash-n-Dash was created by Michelle Koss who was tragically killed in a bicycling accident in 2016. Her desire was to see the Splash-n-Dash become the sole fundraiser for the Antigo Swim Club, to encourage heart-healthy activities and to bring the community together in a fun atmosphere. The Splash-n-Dash has matured over the years in pursuit of these goals and we would love to have you join us as we strive to create a fun environment for your friends and family. Our goal is to one day draw athletes from all over and make this a premiere community event in northern Wisconsin. We are proud to be a part of this tradition and we hope that you will join with us as we all pursue Michelle's vision together.

Lodging is available at hotels in Antigo or for the more adventurous, at the Jack Lake Campground, where there are modern cabins for rent, back-country campsites and well-kept drive-up sites that will appeal to every outdoor enthusiast.

Packet Pick-Up:

* July 17th 4:30-7:00 PM at Clara McKenna Aquatic Center;  111 Western Avenue, Antigo, WI 54409

* July 18th 7:00-7:30 AM at Jack Lake;  N8375 Park Rd, Deerbrook, WI 54424

* We HIGHLY recommend picking up your packet on Friday

Note:  Races are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be deferred to another year. We cannot mail shirts, goodie-bags or awards. 

Course Time Cutoff:  ALL ATHLETES MUST BE FINISHED WITH THE BIKE COURSE BY 10:00AM. ANY ATHLETE ENTERING T2 AFTER 10:00AM WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE ONTO THE RUN COURSE.

Shirts: The deadline to guarantee a shirt is June 30th. 

Registration: July 10th at midnight registration fees will increase by $15 per entry. No online registration after July 17th, but there will be on-site registration on race day.

Weather policy: We will be tracking the weather in the weeks and days leading up to the race. Please keep in mind that this event has a no refund policy and this includes if the race is cancelled due to an “act of God”.
