"Due to COVID-19 all races for the 2020 event are canceled. "
Thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered, and sponsored the 33rd Annual Cleveland Triathlon. With the 33rd edition, we surpassed $100 million in economic impact to the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County during the triathlon’s history, which started in 1987. We have also raised over $20 million for Cleveland based charities and much more for cause related fund-raising directly by participants. Over 42,000 triathletes have participated and we estimate that nearly 15,000 made our event their very first triathlon. The safety record continues to be exceptional during our tenure and exemplified by the exceptional medical team at University Hospitals, our Medical Sponsor. The Cleveland Triathlon showcases one of the great cities in the U.S. and our ability to show a positive impact to the community has been and continues to be very gratifying.
