Duck Lake State Park is a fabulous venue for this event. Most athletes will be able to park in the lot immediately next to the transition area. There is also a large pavillion building near the transition area for registration, packet pick up and the post race picnic. There's a nice sandy beach for the start and also allows ample room for spectators to watch and cheer for their favorite athletes. Once out of the water, take the sidewalk for 150 meters to the transition area. The bike and run courses are quite flat with very few hills. Some of the amenities you'll enjoy are a "technical" style t-shirt, nylon drawstring backpack, ice cold finisher's towels, a grilled food post race picnic and awards ceremony.
Day before packet pick up will take place at No More Sidelines which is located in the Folkert Community Hub building on Saturday, September 19, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. At this time, you can pick up your race materials, late register, get body marked and get any questions answered. Directions to the "Hub" are located under the "Packet Pick Up" tab.
